1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Perfect Rubber Mulch (also called Perfect Rubber Mulch LLC — “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your personal information. It covers what we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and how we protect it — whenever you visit perfectrubbermulch.com, place an order, request a quote, or contact us. We are a national online seller of recycled rubber mulch, delivered anywhere in the 48 contiguous states.

This policy covers the information we handle through our website and our order, delivery, and customer-service work. It does not cover other websites we link to — they have their own privacy practices. By using our site or placing an order, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us. When you place an order, request a quote, create an account, or contact us, you may give us:

• Your name and the name of your business or organization;
• Shipping and billing addresses;
• Email address and phone number;
• Order details, delivery instructions, and freight-related information (such as any specific delivery window that is needed);
• Payment information — note that card payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your full payment-card number on our own systems; the processor handles that data under its own security standards;
• Any other information you choose to share in messages, quote requests, or customer-service communications.

Information we collect automatically. When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• Device and connection details, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and general location inferred from your IP address;
• Usage information, such as the pages you view, links you click, the date and time of your visit, and the website you came from;
• Information collected through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, including analytics and (where applicable) advertising identifiers.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, including coordinating freight delivery;
• Prepare and follow up on quotes and respond to your questions;
• Provide customer service and handle returns, claims, or warranty questions;
• Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and other transactional messages;
• Send marketing or promotional messages where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law — you can opt out at any time;
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and understand how it is used;
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
• Comply with our legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and as described here. We share with:

• Payment processor — a PCI-DSS–compliant third-party payment processor that securely handles your card payment. We do not store your full card number on our own systems.
• Freight carriers and logistics partners — to schedule and complete delivery of your order, including the shipping plant nearest you;
• Technology and service vendors — providers who process information on our behalf, including website hosting (WP Engine), site analytics (Google Analytics), transactional email delivery, and freight carriers who deliver your order. We do not use third-party advertising vendors that track you across other websites.
• Professional advisors — such as our attorneys, accountants, and insurers, where appropriate;
• Legal and safety recipients — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Perfect Rubber Mulch, our customers, or others; and
• Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, as explained in Section 4, certain use of advertising or analytics cookies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law. We honor opt-out requests as described below.

6. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:

• Right to know / access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;
• Right to delete — to request that we delete personal information we collected from you;
• Right to correct — to request that we correct inaccurate personal information;
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — to direct us not to “sell” or “share” your personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising);
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — to the extent we use any sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those allowed by law;
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not sell or share your information in this way, there is nothing to opt out of — but we still honor your choice: we recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals, and you may send a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” request any time using the contact details in Section 12, and we will confirm it in writing.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser or device. When a GPC signal is received, our website is configured to recognize it and will display that your opt-out preference signal has been honored. Honoring GPC signals is a legal requirement in California as of January 1, 2026, and we comply with it.

8. Privacy rights in other states

Residents of certain other states (for example, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others, as their laws take effect) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain profiling. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12, and we will respond as required by applicable law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the subject line “Privacy Appeal,” and we will review the appeal and respond within the time your state's law requires.

To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent to submit certain requests, subject to verification.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to fulfill your order, support warranty and service obligations, keep business and tax records, and meet legal requirements — after which we delete or de-identify it. In general, we keep order and transaction records for up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and warranty obligations, and we keep website analytics data for a shorter period; we retain other information only as long as it serves the purpose for which it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and we rely on our payment processor for the secure handling of card data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's privacy

Our website and products are intended for adults purchasing landscaping and playground materials. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
